INFORMATION GUIDE
No alpine mountain range offers such a wonderful panorama as the Dolomites and thanks to bike transportation on mountain lifts, the natural beauty of the mountains (recognised by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site) can be discovered at first hand by all lovers of mountain biking – The four Dolomite Passes Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi and Sella can now be experienced with ease by bike.

Access to Sellaronda MTB Tour is possible from any of the four valleys which surround the Sella Massif: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa. The tour can be tackled both by mountain bike and with the new e-bikes,( electric powered cycles.)

The Sellaronda MTB Tour requires a sufficient level of physical preparation and with good agility and experience. It is possible to do the tour on your own ,however, we recommend the accompaniment of a MTB expert guide, which will make the experience of the trail even more complete and secure, especially if you do not know the area well or are less confident about the route or your ability.
PLAN YOUR TOUR
First of all you need to choose from which of the 4 valleys you wish to start.

It is possible to ride the whole Sellaronda MTB Track tour without a MTB guide, simply buy the ticket - SuperSummer Card - at the ticket offices of the lifts partecipating in the Dolomiti SuperSummer project.

Maps are available at all Tourist Offices, Ticket Offices at Lift Stations, at Information and Registration Offices and the MTB shops. A web version of the map as well as the GPS tracks can be downloaded from the following pages: Clockwise Tour and Anti-clockwise Tour.

Nevertheless it is highly recommended to be accompanied by a MTB guide affiliated to schools or MTB centers in the area, especially if you are doing the Sellaronda MTB Tour for the first time. Even if you are a confident biker, you can gain so much more from this tour, with an official guide.

To request information and prices or to book the nearest guide, contact the INFO and REGISTRATION OFFICES or MTB GUIDES.

In all villages of the 4 valleys you will find MTB shops and Rent and E-bike recharging points.
